Meet Dr Sheng Oon –
Specialist Radiologist

- Dr Sheng Oon is a surgically trained Diagnostic Radiologist who performs ultrasound and CT guided procedures with fellowship sub specialisations in Abdominal, Gynae-urological, Advanced Oncologic, Women’s and Breast Radiology.
- Dr Oon graduated from Medicine in Trinity College Dublin and obtained an intercollegiate Membership with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (IMRCS) and is registered with the Australia / New Zealand and Irish Colleges of Radiology.
- Dr Oon holds public hospital appointments at the Royal Women’s Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, where he is the current joint Genitourinary Imaging Lead. He has over 20 peer-reviewed journal publications and 50 presentations. He remains active in the education and research space.

- Dr. Chau Nguyen is a skilled Diagnostic Radiologist who perfoms ultrasound and CT guided procedures. She successfully completed her training at the Western Hospital and further enhanced her expertise through fellowships at the Royal Women’s Hospital and Royal Children’s Hospital.
- Dr. Nguyen’s expertise in a wide range of imaging modalities offered by proRAD which include Cross-sectional Imaging, Breast Imaging and Image-Guided procedures and biopsies combined with her commitment to staying abreast of advancements in the field, allows her to provide exceptional care to her patients.
- proRAD Medical Imaging specialises in evidence-based radiology procedures for pain management, with a focus on addressing osteoarthritis and various tendon-related conditions through treatments like Euflexxa and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy.
- Dr. Nguyen is the clinical lead for pain management and has 8 years of experience with PRP therapy, having performed thousands of procedures for a range of clinical conditions. She is also a member of International Pain & Spine Intervention Society (IPSIS).
