Monitoring:
You will remain in the clinic for 30 minutes post-scan to monitor for any reactions to the contrast dye.
Please let our staff know if you experience hives, itching, or any allergic symptoms.
Medications & Side Effects:
Beta Blockers (used to slow heart rate) may cause blood pressure changes in the first 60 minutes after administration.
Glyceryl Trinitrate (GTN) (used to dilate blood vessels) may cause headaches—you can take Panadol or try caffeine to relieve symptoms.
Vital Sign Monitoring:
If you were given beta blockers, we will check your blood pressure and heart rate before and after your scan to ensure stability.
