How should I prepare for an ultrasound guided procedure?

The preparation for an ultrasound guided procedure will depend on the specific procedure being performed. You may need to fast for a certain period of time before the procedure or stop taking certain medications.

What will happen during my ultrasound guided procedure appointment?

During the procedure, a Radiologist will use an ultrasound machine to guide a needle to the target area. The procedure is typically performed under local anesthesia and is generally well-tolerated.
